Many people ask the question, why were the children given to Christy and Matt Shaffer? Here is the answer. They had guardianship of Lilli and Noah before Alissa was born. Alissa's mother had made statements that her kids used to go over to Christy's house for "sleepovers" when, in fact, that was not true at all.
